Abstract

A brief description is given of the programme for coal exploration in The Netherlands. The problem of detailing coal scams in the Dutch geological environment is described. With respect to resolution and lateral continuity promising results have been obtained using a field technique with the following main features: single deep shots with 0.5 kg charges, 10 m receiver group interval, and six 50 Hz geophones per group.
