Some notes on the geomorphology of the shelf of St. Eustatius (Netherlands Antilles)
Abstract
During the year 1972 H.Ms. "Luymes" of the Royal Netherlands Navy made a hydrographical survey in a part of the N. E. Caribbean. The resulting echograms and maps allowed a more detailed impression of the topography of the sea bottom in this area to be made. In this paper the relief of the shelf of St. Eustatius, with its submarine terraces and ridges, is discussed.
