Application of natural isotopes in ground water hydrology

Abstract

18O, deuterium and tritium may serve as tracers and be used to determine the origin of groundwater. The radioactive isotopes 14C and T can be used to date water. Deuterium and 13C may give information about evaporation and processes in the unsaturated zone
