Abstract

A well-preserverd fauna f planktonic Foraminifera indicates a Tortonian age for a calcilutite directly overlying pyroclastic orthopyroxene-labradorite pheno-andesite. The rock series belongs to the autochthonous of the Betic Cordilleras
